The employees of ISG International wore blue jeans and green shirts last week in.support of 9-year-old David Ryan
Jr., recently diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening disorder, X-linked Lymphoproliferative Disorder or XLP. David,
the son of ISG employee Tina Ryan and her husband David Sr., will need a bone marrow transplant at Johns Hopkins
Hospital in Baltimore. "We are still trying to absorb all of this and learn as much as we can about the disease," Mrs.
Ryan said. "It is an extremely rare disease that affects the immune system. Johns Hopkins Hospital had to bring in
specialists that understood the disorder and were able to provide treatment options for us." ISG International employees
gave young David gifts, a birthday cake and wore "green" (his favorite color) to celebrate his birthday last week.
ISG plans to establish an account at a local bank for employees and community members to make contributions to
help offset some of the medical bills and travel expenses to Baltimore.
